Recently, the Royal City Church marked its second anniversary. The event also saw to the holding of the church's convention in Abuja.

A leader of the church spoke on this.
Could you tell us a little about your church?
Royal City Church was registered in Nigeria as World Royal City Church. It marked its second anniversary on February 26. The church is a multi-denominational, non-profit Christian organization that is committed to preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, and making disciples of every nation.

We seek to raise kings, priest and prophets to reign with Christ here on earth and hereafter.

When God asked us to start this work in Asokoro two years ago, it seemed like an impossible task. Yet we obeyed. Today, barely 24 months later, we have reached millions of people in different parts of the world with the gospel and have churches in Nigeria and the USA.

Pastor Effa Emmanuel, the presiding pastor of the Church, is a pastor, prophet, motivational speaker and an author. His ministry spans across various continents, and he has been teaching the power, love, and word of God for over a decade now. His ministry is characterized by prophecies, healings and deliverances. He is married to Pastor Elis and they are blessed with children.

How did your convention go?
We hold annual convention called Xtraordinary Wonders. This marks our anniversary. We also use this as a medium to reach out to people from every nation. This year's event, which held at the National Christian Centre Abuja, was explosive. It featured all the big names in gospel music in Nigeria. We had in attendance Midnight crew, Dekunle Fuji, Paul IK Dairo, Tosin Martins, Orits Wiliki, Onos Bisisbiri, Pro G, Emma Steve, the 500 man choir of Royal City Church and a host of others. We also had as our guest Minister, Apostle Charles Ndifon, a great miracle worker and healing apostle from the United States of America.
