FAAN says it never approved Bi-Courtney terminal design

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) said it  never approved Bi-Courtney terminal design, adding that it was not involved in all stages of the approval.

Bi-Courtney Aviation Services had claimed during the week that 'the design of the terminal (MMA Domestic Terminal 2) was approved by the Federal Government and FAAN after due consultation with their consultants'.

Yakubu Dati, FAAN spokesman, disclaimed the company that built the modern terminal at the local wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.

Dati said in Lagos that the design that FAAN approved was for a terminal costing a total of N3.9 billion.
