This is coming two years after the launch of Airtel's grand breaking friendship campaign

Nollywood star actor and former Globacom Ambassador, Mike Ezuruonye, has just signed a new deal with Airtel Nigeria Plc.

Just like Saka's move from Etisalat to MTN in the popular 'I don port' ad, Mike's movement is bound to achieve significant effect among the targeted audience.

Mike signed the multimillion naira  deal at the Sheraton Hotels, Ikeja, Lagos State  last Wednesday.

Under the deal, he becomes the  new face of the telecoms' campaign, tagged Come Alive with Airtel.

This is coming two years after the launch of Airtel's grand breaking friendship campaign.

'Padi Na Good Thing, Come Alive with Airtel' is a thematic campaign targeted at the youths and designed to give customers more value for their money.

Ezuruonye began his acting career in 2003 and has since appeared in over 70 movies, the most recent being Unforgivable, produced by Dayo Amusa.

He received two nominations for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and Best Actor in a Leading Role at the African Movie Academy Awards in 2008 and 2009.
