Speaking to newsmen the PHCCIMA president said, “I am greatly stunned with the news of the death of my Father in-law, Eze (Dr.) Frank Eke, a man that is more than a father in-law to me, an elder statesman per excellence and a truly great leader and monarch”.

He described the Late Monarch as an intelligent individual with great personality and an awesome father in-law anyone would have ever hoped for. “He was just such a great man, always upbeat about life generally, had a good sense of humor and was just so nice and you couldn't ask for a nicer father in-law”, he averred.

Unachukwu recalled that on June 27th2013 well wishers, loved ones among other dignitaries were gathered at his palatial palace in Woji to celebrate his 82nd birthday, according to him never did anyone anticipate he was going to leave the world this soon because he was strong, sound, healthy and so full of life on that faithful occasion.

While expressing grief, Unachukwu urged all and sundry to find solace in the fact that the late monarch left behind inspiring legacies in the sands of time which if emulated would better our lot. He however said the Eze will be sorely missed especially his invaluable advises, subtleness, love and care towards his grand children and to a whole lot of others who were opportuned to come across him during his lifetime.

“On behalf of my family, exco, elected council and entire membership of Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the people of Evo Kingdom over this painful and irreparable loss” he was quoted as saying.
