Donald Duke In The US, Rallies Nigerians For Presidential Bid

San Francisco, March 10, (THEWILL) – Former governor of Cross River State and Presidential hopeful in the 2011 elections, Mr. Donald Duke, on Tuesday night at the Crowne Plaza, La Guardia, New York continued his consultation and mobilization for support from Nigerians abroad for his presidential bid.

Duke was hosted at a similar gathering in London last week.

He is scheduled to visit other US cities including Atlanta, Los Angeles and Houston in the next few days where he is expected to interact with Nigerians at similar events.

THEWILL gathered that the former governor will be abroad for a while in his push to mobilize Nigerians living abroad to return and vote for his candidacy in the 2011 elections.

Duke is expected to formally announce his candidacy for the election 'at the appropriate time' when he returns to Nigeria.
