Akintade emerges chairman of Odu’a investment company

The Odu’a Investment Company Limited on Sunday announced the appointment of Chief Isaac Akintade as its new Chairman.

The appointment is contained in a release signed by the company's Group Managing Director, Mr Adebayo Jimoh in Ogbomoso.

Akintade is a seasoned banker from Ondo State.
According to the release, Akintade, who is a seasoned banker, is representing Ondo State on the board as a director.

He was appointed on the completion of the tenure of Alhaji Sarafadeen Alli from Oyo State.

Odu’a Investment Company Limited is a business conglomerate jointly owned by five states from the South-Western states of Oyo, Ogun, Osun, Ondo and Ekiti.

Akintade’s work experience started at the Central Bank of Nigeria and spanned through the public and private sectors.

He had held several appointments including the Director, Ekimogun Micro-finance Bank, the Director, Owena Oil and Gas and the Managing Director of Famak Petroleum Limited among others.

Akintade, whose tenure takes effect from Dec. 4, pledged to uphold the heritage of the founding fathers of the company.

“I will engage in activities that will promote and enhance rapid economic, industrial and human resources development in our catchments area,” he said.
