Afenifere Chieftain and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in Ekiti State, Prince Dayo Adeyeye has hailed the Supreme Court judgment, upturning the conviction of former Deputy National Chairman of the PDP, Chief Bode George for 'contract splitting' saying; "The truth has once again triumphed over falsehood and manipulation of the judiciary."

Adeyeye, who congratulated Chief Bode George for the landmark victory, said; "Those who used their Lagos court to jail the leader of our party for an offence not known to law should now be ashamed of themselves."

The statement read; "I am highly elated with this news and I must also say that I am grateful to God for putting those who laboured day and night, trying to rubbish the impeccable name of Chief Olabode Ibiyinka George to shame.

"From the beginning of Chief Bode George's travails till now, I never had doubt in my mind that he will one day be vindicated, and I am happy that God has eventually vindicated our leader, using the highest court in the land.

"We all know how hard they tried to compensate the judge, who did the hatchet job for them by first trying to elevate him to the Appeal Court, using Osun State's slot, and later trying to reward him with the position of Osun State Chief Judge.

"With today's judgment of the Supreme Court, vindicating Chief Bode George, he can now assume his rightful position as the authentic leader of the PDP in the South-West, and we assure him of our unflinching support.

"Once again, I congratulate our own Atona Oodua, and the entire members and supporters of our great party, PDP for this victory."
