Federal legislators summon Okonjo-Iweala, Anyim, Adokie, others over alleged N13b scam in FHA

The House of Representatives Committee on Public Accounts has summoned the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, including the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adokie, to appear before it over alleged N13 billion scam in the Federal Housing Authority (FHA).

The lawmakers also asked the Minister of Lands and Housing as well as former and current technical board members of the FHA to appear before the House Committee over the alleged missing funds.

The committee fixed November 27 to 29 for an investigative hearing on the various roles of those alleged to have disbursed the funds.

The Chairman of the committee, Adeola Olamilekan, disclosed this during a meeting with the FHA management team, led by the Managing Director, Terver Gemade. - The Sun.
