For the third time, Golden Eaglets are set to face one of their first round foes in the final of FIFA U-17 World Cup.Former Abia state governor Dr. Orji Uzor has some tips for them.

"Mexico must not get the opener",Kalu offered,"that is key.Twice the Eaglets lost the Cup to group opponents. Russia in 1987 ,France in 2001 and in both games, winners scored first.

The USSR had been held 1-1 in Canada before they won 4-2 penalties after another draw in the final.

France who fell 1-2 in the Trinidad and Tobago first round, hammered Nigeria 3-0 in the grand-finale."

Mexico are coming for a second chance after an earlier 6-1 disgrace. And Kalu warns, they would be tough.

"Forget the drubbing. The Mexicans are defending champions. They were the only team to beat the Eaglets during regulation time at Canada '87."

The ex-governor however tipped Nigeria to carry the day.

"Eaglets are Asian Tigers. They won their three previous silverware in Asia. China in 1985,Japan '93, and Korea in 2007.Now they are in Asia again and good there is neither Anatoli Muskinka nor Florent Sinama Pongolle. The trophy is coming to Abuja," Kalu boasted.
