Zenith bank to list on Ghana Stock Exchange

Zenith Bank,  Ghana has initiated moves to list  on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE).

The bank, which is number one bank in Nigeria by profitability, is listed on the Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE) and the London Stock Exchange (LSE), where it completed listing earlier this year. .

this listing make the  first Nigerian bank to list on the Ghana bourse.

Speaking to Citi Business News at the launch of the Bank's Global Travel Wallet card, the bank's Managing Director, Daniel Asiedu said listing on the Ghana Stock Exchange would increase its visibility.

'We have plans of listing on the stock exchange in the nearest future we believe that it will improve our visibility and brand. But it's just that we have not defined a time line yet but at some time we will do that.'
