Separating Satanic Healers from Anointed Faith-Healers

Physical ailments and diseases of the body pale in comparison to the diseases that afflict the soul and spirit. Each time we say someone is sick, we look for evidence only in the human body, but the greater disease anyone can suffer is the disease of the soul. Depression, schizophrenia, anxiety, fear, anger, paranoia etc. are ailments that stop the functioning of the soul. The human mind contains the will and since the human will is the seat of decision, demonic forces prefer to attack the soul more than the human body. In Galatians 5: 19-21: “The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.” These sinful acts are committed first in the mind and the consequences of their commissions manifest in the human body. That was why our Lord Jesus Christ said in Mathew 5: 28: “But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” Every sin committed in the body begins as a seed planted in the human mind, thus the mind is the battlefield where forces of God and Satan clash. The human body, which is located in the soul, is a fortress that Satan and his minions love to seize and perpetrate their wicked activities in the lives of humans. Apostle Paul listed the diseases that occur when people sinned and evil forces used such sins to punish the sinners. Satan and his demons are spirits of disobedience and lawlessness. They do respect neither do they obey nor revere the Lord God Almighty. That was why they were driven out of heaven and hell fire was created for them as their eternal abode. They are eternally lost because their fate is sealed forever. Never again will Satan and his disobedient and lawless spirits ever participate in the Lord's activities on earth after the end of the current dispensation. As far as the True Lord God Almighty is concerned, Satan and his demons have been judged. Conscious and well aware of their eternal doom, Satan and his demons are sore losers; they have nothing to lose by playing the roles of the spoilers in the world. Denied access to heaven for ever, Satan and his lawless spirits are fiendishly determined to deny as many human beings as possible from making it to heaven. After all, he who is down fears no fall. This is the main reason why Satan and his demons wage relentless war against the souls of human beings on earth. Unlike Satan and the demons that can never have a second chance, human beings on the other hand can still repent and give their lives to our Lord Jesus Christ right here on earth and escape hell. If you are reading this and are yet to repent of your sins and commit your eternal destiny into the Hands of the Great King, our Lord Jesus Christ, you can do that now. It is not too late. This is what is called salvation.

Triumph over Satan and His Demons: By now, every born-again Christian should have known that Christianity is a call to spiritual warfare. This earth as it is currently constituted is run by Satan hence our Lord Jesus Christ referred to him as the god of this world. According to Luke 4:5-7: “The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, "I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. So if you worship me, it will all be yours." Here, Satan spoke his native language of lie by saying all the kingdoms of the earth were given to him; actually Satan stole it from our First Parents; Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden when they believed Satan and disbelieved God Almighty. The reason our Lord Jesus Christ came to the earth as God-in-the-flesh (Immanuel) were to accomplish three basic missions: pay the price for the disobedience of Adam and Eve's with His Blood and Death on Calvary; obtain forgiveness from God Almighty with His Resurrection and break the back of Satan and his demons with His Resurrection three days later by restoring sinful humanity back to our pre-fall era. That was why our Lord Jesus Christ and Savior declared after He had accomplished these three main objectives in Mathew 28: 18 thus: “Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” Among these “all authority and powers” that have been restored to those who have chosen to believe in Jesus Christ is the power to stop Satan and his demons from afflicting the souls and bodies of human beings. Every born-again Christian as a follower of Jesus Christ has the power to divine health. In order words, if you're not a willful disobedient soul, Satan and his demons do not have the legal and moral right to afflict your soul and body with any disease. On the other hand, if you are not a Christ believer and live in disobedience to the law of God, you are susceptible and open to Satan's invasion of either your soul or spirit. Divine health is not the heritage of unbelievers because they are also disobedient souls like Satan and his demons. There are totally committed followers of Jesus Christ who have been specially called to demonstrate the powers of Divine Health to the rest followers of Jesus Christ and humanity in general. The Holy Spirit, Who is Christ in the Spirit, has specifically chosen these committed followers as practitioner of Divine Health to demonstrate the powers of the heavens among humanity in this current world system. Just as some humans have taken medicine as their secular profession as medical doctors, but as some secular medical doctors aptly confess; “We only treat; only God cures.” The way God demonstrates His power to cure any ailment is by separating few of His committed followers as Divine Healers. That was why Jesus Christ told all of us His followers in Mark 16: 17-18: “And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; …they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well." These four delegated powers are wrapped up in one objective: divine health. It is instructive to note that the power to drive out demons are tied to three other objectives thus confirming that most ailments and diseases in both the body and soul are caused by demons and until you drive those demons away first, you can't pick snakes unhurt, drink deadly poison unscathed and place hands on sick people and they will recover. These primary powers must be exercised by all Christians first like medical students in universities take general medical requirement course before proceeding to specialize in their areas of medical practice. The Holy Spirit the decides out of all believers to choose a group to specialize in healing as Apostle Paul stated in 1 Corinthians 12: 4, 7, 9: “There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. ..Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. … to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit…” All the gifts of the Holy Spirit, like salvation are all gifts, which means it is the prerogative of the Holy Spirit to choose which gift is appropriate for each of the Lord's own. If it is in power to determine our gift(s) then it is no longer a gift. However, there are some requirements that those followers of Christ assigned to specific gifts in His Kingdom possess that are tailored to that particular gift. For Divine Health healers, they are compassionate and show empathy more than the rest of us. For example, the Holy Spirit will never give the gift of teaching to anyone who hates books. Christians who do not possess the character of compassion, outstanding love and empathy for fellow human beings cannot be called to the ministry of divine healing. Another outstanding feature or character of Christians called into the ministry of divine healing is that they too must have suffered loses of health in their personal lives. How do you understand what a sick person is going through if you haven't experienced it yourself? Examine the lifestyles of many of the faith healers in Christendom and you will see this unique attribute.

How to Detect Fake Healers: Just as our Lord Jesus Christ gives out the Gift of healing to some of His own, so also Satan too has the power to commission some of his followers to pull-off miracles of healing and health. Remember Satan wants to be like the True Lord God Almighty so he mimics the Creator all the way. In many countries and geographical areas of the world, these fake healers are known by different nomenclatures. But how do we know a real faith healer from a fake one? According to several accounts in scriptures where our Lord Jesus Christ cured sick and diseased souls, he didn't draw attention to himself. In Luke 5: 12- we read the following account; “While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!" And immediately the leprosy left him. Then Jesus ordered him, "Don't tell anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them." Yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” Do you read the last verse? Jesus often withdrew…” Any faith healer who parades his/her healing miracles for all to see, craves publicity like obsession and prefer to draw attention to himself/herself instead of to the Lord Jesus Christ is most likely a fake. Any faith healer who doesn't bring the patient to the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ after the healing miracle is not working for the True Lord God Almighty. Divine Healing is the evidence of a changed life. Most of the diseases, ailments and illnesses that afflict humans are caused by sins. Our Lord Jesus Christ cured a man of a certain disease but in John 5: 14; we read: “Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, "See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you." When a person is healed, if he/she continues to live his/her normal life, the faith healing is fake, because the faith healer only understands the demon he/she drives away but the person healed has no clue who the Lord Jesus Christ is in the first place so he/she continues to live his/her usual normal life. If someone cannot explain what spiritually transpired and changed in his/her life after being healed, the healing will not last and a deadlier and more invasive disease or illness is in the offing. Any genuine healing from the Great Source must endure and be permanent. Any man or woman of God called into the ministry of faith healing that asks for money in exchange for the healing miracle is a fake faith healer. Gehazi ran into trouble for collecting money from Naaman, the Syrian military general cured of leprosy 2 Kings 5: 21. Our Lord Jesus Christ commanded His disciples in Mathew 10: 8: “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” Any faith healer who says he/she is a true caller and genuine man/woman of the True Lord God Almighty that sells anointing oil, miracle handkerchief, healing water and all sorts to worshipers is a fake faith healer. The Holy Spirit never charges for faith healing. Now this should be confused with someone who is appreciated by the healed and comes back to give freely for the Gospel. But to put a price tag on the healing of God Almighty is not only a great insult to our Great God but such fake faith healers stand condemned in the Eternal Court of Justice. Another sign to look for in fake faith healers is drama, sensationalism and showcase. The Lord God Almighty is a God of Love. When we heal sick people, we should demonstrate the love of God and empathy. We should not humiliate them and open them to public obloquy. There are numerous sick people that are hurting and when they are called out, we should save them from further embarrassment by doing all things openly. Some diseases are deadly and shameful so a genuine man/woman of God should use God's Wisdom to shield and protect them with God's Love. Another sign to look out for in a faith healer is the modus operandi of such healing. Any faith healer who initiates conversations with the demons inhabiting a sick person is a fake faith healer. Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Great Healer laid down this principle in Mark 1: 34: “…and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was.” We have no business talking to demons, because demons like to put up a show. We are commanded to cast out demons in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, period! Finally, we should examine the lifestyle of anyone who says is a real and genuine faith healer of God. Do they live righteous lives? Are they steeped in known sins while they are still healing people? Can a blind man lead a blind person?

NEXT WEEK: We look at the Gift of Miracles. The gift of healing is different from miracles and we will see how miracles from the tabernacle of God are exercised and how Satan and his demons too can also counterfeit the miracles of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

WORLD PROPHECY: This is huge! Something of global importance, an earth-shattering event and a cosmic occurrence is in the offing in the world. I don't know what it is but the Holy Bible has predicted it and we shall all see it with our very eyes soon. This event is part of end-time prophecy and it's about to take place very, very soon in the next 12 to 24 months. I don't know what it is; I repeat again, I wasn't shown what it is but again, it's HUGE. The whole world will be shocked; from the rising of the sun to the setting of the sun; from the East to the West; from the South to the North, the planet earth is about to witness a catastrophic event. The Divine Hand of God Almighty, the Creator of the heavens and the universe, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is about to intervene in the affairs of humanity. The world media, the commentariat, the scientists, the astrologers, the men and women of earthly wisdom and their ilk will be talking their heads out but will not be able to explain but those who know the True God will be unshaken and unperturbed. What is it? I wasn't shown but was only told (Luke 21:11 & 25).

I have been repeating the above prophetic words almost a year since this column debuted and as events unfold around the world, I will not comment on the unfolding drama in Syria. We shall see.

The Baddies of Yesterday and the Goodies of Today

This is Nigeria where the sympathizers cry more than the bereaved and you can't but marvel at the chameleonic and sudden metamorphic transformation of past public office holders in the Nigerian. These were the chronic and irredeemable looters and kleptomaniacs Nigeria has ever had-the magnitude and dimension of the looting is catastrophic and has left the economy and the people in prolonged comatose. Some of these 'heroes' and 'heroines' are professional 'armed' robbers-they are armed with exalted offices, funds, green pens and their spiritualists. They are robbers, because they have captured and stolen the future of this country and converted it to a Ping-Pong passed down from one generation of robbers to another generation of advanced robbers- in any case kept perpetually in the bondage of parasitic cabalistic dictators. This is pathetic. The proportion of funds stolen and diverted to promote purses and pockets under their commands and operations is outrageous. No group of public office holders in any part of the world can rival them-they have become a reference standard in the game of mindless stealing. They have done more damage than the whole of witches and wizards in Africa combined. They are vampires. They have sucked hopes out of the young people in Nigeria who have since forgotten about any glimmer of brighter tomorrow. These 'heroes' and heroines' are worst nightmare of the Nigerian state. Thanks to these 'celebrities' 10.5million children will not go to school in Nigeria-in fact, Nigeria has the highest school drop-out population in the world and increasing levels of pockets of violence in education underprivileged regions. Worse still, the entire university community in Nigeria has been grounded for more than 50days without any resolution in sight. Is there any hope for the youth of this country? Due to the heartless manner and nature with which these 'saints' handle matters of national importance, there is a proportional collapse in the infrastructure and social amenities in Nigeria. Countless people have accident plane crashes more than whooping cough and malaria combined. Do we really have access to any good public utility? Our nation's 'heroes' and 'heroines' are not alone-they have wide followership and fans as expected. These blind and deaf followers and fans are untreatable imbeciles and morons or they are consciously helping themselves with the crumbs from the hijacked national cake. You can't blame them because there is so much poverty in the land. Together, this unholy matrimony is architectural design of our misfortune as a people blessed with colossal poor citizens-our blessing hasn't translated into the general commonwealth for the entire populace. Some of our 'heroes' and 'heroines were educated in some of the best schools in the world. Others are stark illiterates who can't use the bottom of a bottle to inscribe letter 'O'- the dumbest we ever had. All of these people have contributed to the woes of Nigeria. Fast forwards, now they are out of public offices, broke and hungry-or maybe a little broke! Their tenures have expired and they are out of circulation. Some of them (our present 'heroes' and 'heroines') are now indebted to many financial institutions and the lenders are calling for their wives and children. Life is tough for them now. Yes, they still have few things going for them-contacts they made while in office, few currencies laundered in foreign accounts and of course few escorts. They have eventually returned to their abandoned houses and communities- they are now visible parts of us. Because some of them possess advanced degrees in many disciplines they are able to support themselves It is easy to make a transition from villainy to heroism since it is very easy when you combine these disciplines with religion. They have successfully integrated and settled amongst us.

In Nigerian history since independence from Britain up to no vocation or profession is as thriving as religion, may be corruption. So many evils have been perpetrated in the name of religion. Our heroes and heroines are currently taking cover under its shade cashing in on the people's ignorance and fearful gullibility. This group of celebrities have since become advocate of social justice and equity. Some have suddenly caught strange fire and become overnight crusaders and noise makers. They are very active in the social media-obviously out of job and as such finding solace and comfort in the youth community. But we know what they are up to. What you have read thus far is the constant nightmare of Nigerians in the hands of the changing guards in Nigeria's political space. Fellow compatriots, best of intentions will not count if we aren't ready to make the necessary change and wise up!

Dear Mr. Kiru, Yes, I absolutely agree with you that Mr. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida was and still is a problem in Nigeria. Some of the issues that have exacerbated in Nigeria in recent times were caused by this evil man. As the Word of Life says; no evil committee by any mortal will go unpunished. If Babangida is not punished here on earth for the evils he committed against the Nigerian people, certainly his children and grandchildren will not go unscathed. In addition, Mr. Babangida himself will appear before the Judgment Seat of the True Lord God Almighty to give account of his earthly works.
