MoneyGram, e-Tranzact Seal Deal On Money Transfer

MoneyGram International and eTranzact yesterday signed and agreement to enable PocetMoney customers in Nigeria to receive MoneyGram Money transfer from all over the world on their phones.

PocketMoney is an independent mobile wallet solution offered by e Tranzact with more than 3000 thousand agent locations across the country providing cash-in cash-out service to customers.

Both parties explained that the move was in line with efforts aimed at supporting the ongoing drive for financial inclusion by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The Business Development Manager, Anglophone West Africa, MoneyGram International Plc,Mrs. Kemi Okusanya, said her firm was concerned about how to help Nigerians drive more value by deploying huge mobile technology penetration to achieve financial transaction that promotes convenience and unlimited accessibility.
