Fellow Nigerians, please advise me on what to do in this case of deliberate ploy by security officials who have decided never to release my late father's pension benefits.

Family members of My father, the late Mr. Harry Amieye Brown with service no.9323, who retired from the Nigerian customs in 2005 but died in 2008 are yet to receive a dime of his pension, gratuity or death benefits.

Despite the fact that we have done every necessary clearance on the cumbersome process of reclaiming benefits, some custom officers, including the Director of customs, the immigration & prisons pension office (CIPPO) and the Accountant General of the federation are still sitting on the dead man's benefits.

Whenever I call upon them to release the funds, one officer, who goes by the name, Mr. Abdulsalami always tell me that we should get a note from the National Assembly so that we could be paid; otherwise things might turn up differently and the funds may not be paid.

I know my father served Nigeria diligently without recommendation from the National Assembly.

Please can somebody educate me on how my petition can get to the National Assembly, EFCC, Pensions Board as well as the Presidency.

My name is Harry Birinengi A B. a copper from Rivers state
