Anambra: N2 Million For APGA GUBER Forms

And Sets Date For Primary And Date For Name Submission To INEC

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has pegged the price for its expression of interest forms for gubernatorial ticket of the party at N2million.

National secretary of the party, Alhaji Sani Abdulahi Shinkafi, said yesterday in Abuja that this is in compliance with the time table released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the November 16 governorship elections in Anambra State and that the party has also fixed August 3rd for the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the party for the approval of guidelines for the elections.

He said prospective aspirants interested in collecting the expression of interest forms shall pay a non-refundable fee of N2million upon completion of the expression of interest forms.

He added that the screening appeals will hold on August 17th 2013 while ward congresses for the election of Ad-hoc delegates to the state congress will take place on August 17 2013 and that the state congress (primary election) for the nomination of the party's candidate for the governorship elections will hold on August 26th, 2013, while appeals arising from the state congress would be entertained on August 28th.

He added that the party will submit the name of its candidate to INEC on September 3rd, 2013.
