The Chief Executive Officer of Coscharis group, Dr. Cosmas Maduka has continued to receive commendation from many quarters over the fire incident that gutted the company at its Maza Maza office, destroying goods worth Billions of Naira.

In a lettermto the Group addressed to Dr. Maduka, Gov. Obi regretted the incidence, especially concerning a man who rose to success through share hard work. Obi also said that people like Coscharis, who are adding value to the country through commerce and industry, should be supported by the Government when they suffer from misfortune, the nature of which Coscharis suffered.

A copy of the letter reads: “I write on behalf of the people and Government of Anambra State to sympathize with you and the entire Coscharis family on the fire that gutted your Lagos office, destroying buildings and goods worth Billions of Naira.

The Coscharis Conglomerate is easily known in Nigeria as one of the business concerns that rose to the pinnacle of success through sheer hard work. It is heart breaking when such genuine efforts are visited by natural disaster of any form. We are therefore in solidarity with you in these trying times.

May this setback not dampen your spirit in your avowed determination to contribute to the growth and expansion of the industrial base of the country.

As you count your loses, kindly bear in mind that the Government and people of Anambra State are grief-stricken by the ugly incident, and will stand by you through prayers and moral support.”
