Borno State Commissioner Felicitates With His People In Ramadan

The Borno state Commissioner of Religious Affairs and Special Education, Hon. Usman Maman Durkwa has distributed three trucks of rice and cash donations to the people in the nine local government areas of Southern Borno.

The local government aress are Hawul, Chibok, Askira/Uba, Shani, Kwaya-Kusar, Damboa, Bayo, Biu, and Gwoza.

In Hawul where the commissioner hails from, Hon. Usman Durkwa visited all the party executives of the wards and gave them bags of rice and cash donations as Ramadan.

Hon. Usman Durkwa said the gesture is to further cement their relationship with party officials as well as a demonstration of governments appreciation for their commitment, loyalty and cooperation with Kashim Shettima's administration.

"Governor Kashim is committed to transforming the state in the area of health, housing, agriculture rural infrastructure and poverty alleviation among others" Durkwa said and urged the people to support the government for more developments.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries Alhaji Abdu Saje ANPP local government chairman in Hawul described Durkwa as a grassroots politician who has the fear of God and the love of his people at heart.
