A brave Businessman in  Maiduguri city handed over his suspected Boko Haram son to officers of  the Joint Task Force (JTF) who immediately shot dead the suspect as he attempted to escape the scene.
The son, according to close family sources, had once threatened to kill his father. He had fled from home and only returned recently.

The Boko Haram suspects  was said to have returned home and wanted some kind of protection in his father’s house.

“After confessing all his crimes including how he participated in killing of people and looting of banks to his father, the old man said he has no such conscience of keeping a killer son in his home”  said the family member who pleaded anonymity.

The 60 years old man who lives in Babban-Line commercial area of Maiduguri simply approached the Sector office of the JTF and told them about his son.

According to eyewitness who quoted the father as saying   ‘this boy is my son; he is a confirmed member of Boko Haram, and has killed many people, he too should be killed too’.

The young man was eventually shot at once as he was trying to flee from the soldiers. And his father, who had not gone far from the JTF, simply turned and looked at the writhing body of his son and said ‘Masha Allah’ (to God be the glory).

Before he was handed over to the soldiers, the young man was said to have revealed to his father and family members that he possessed two cars and had millions of Naira buried somewhere near his family home.
