Shocker: Saudi Aviation denies FEC delegation landing clearance

In continuation of power play and the great cover up of the true status of the health of

President Yar'Adua, the six man ministerial delegation scheduled to take off Sunday night

to Saudi Arabia expressed shock when they learnt that Saudi Aviation has denied them a

landing clearance.
Six Ministers namely Prof. Babatunde Osotimehin (Health); the Attorney-General of the

Federation and Minister of Justice, Chief Kayode Adetokunbo; Dr. Sayyadi Abba-Ruma

(Agriculture); Foreign Affairs Minister, Chief Ojo Maduekwe, Minister of Petroleum, Dr.

Rilwanu Lukman and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Alhaji Yayale Ahmed

were mandated by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) to visit the Saudi Arabia in order to

determine the status of the health of the president.

They were to travel aboard Nigeria presidential jet but Saudi Authority denied a landing

clearance.
This latest plot to deny access to the president is a clear signal that visiting the President

could reveal a lot of untold stories of the state of his mind and health, and such revelation

could lead to possibly declaration of him being incapacitated while the Acting President

becomes a substantive President. It could also lead to his impeachment in the National

Assembly. His kitchen cabinet including his wife Turai would rather not want to gamble with

anything that could be counter productive at this time.

About four previous official delegations of National Assembly, ruling PDP, Governors, and

Presidency have gone to the King Fahd hospital to see the President but were denied

access to him, even as they blame it on the Saudi Monarch.

As at the time of this report, there is no official statement from the Federal Government

over the development. The trip is said to have been postponed.
