Nestle Nigeria appoints Gordhon MD/ CEO

Nestlé Nigeria Plc has announced the appointment of Mr. Dharnesh Gordhon as its  new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. He replaces Martin Woolnough who retired from the company on May 31, 2013.

South African born, Mr Gordhon has held various commercial roles in for Nestle in Southern Africa and Malaysia. He holds various academic and professional qualifications, including a Master's in Business Administration (MBA). Mr Gordhon has a strong belief that the key ingredient for success is an authentic passion for people and an unrelenting pursuit of excellence in action.

The new Managing Director is committed to Nestlé Nigeria being recognized as the leading Nutrition, Health and Wellness Company.

Nestlé Nigeria - the single largest food company in West Africa by market value - recorded another milestone recently when the price per share hit a historic four-digit price of 1,035 Naira, the highest price in the annals of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
