Airtel's Chief Marketing Officer Resigns

SAN FRANCISCO, May 23, (THEWILL) - Mr. Olu Akanmu, the Chief Marketing Officer of Airtel Networks Limited, has resigned his appointment with the company to pursue other interests, the company said in a statement Thursday.

Akanmu’s resignation took effect on Wednesday, May 22, 2013.

The company did not say why the officer suddenly resigned his appointment.

Airtel said a replacement would be “announced shortly.”
