CONSECRATING/PROTECTING THE GLORY OF THE FIRSTBORNS AND WAGING WAR WITH THE STARS

Stars have military credentials and warfare capabilities because they are called the host of heaven; an identity which is a military appellation. Stars fought the battle of River Kishon with Deborah against Sisera. They are usually organized in regiments like any other military formation. They are scepters of war, battering rams and instruments of intimidation against wicked kings.

They serve as logistical support, air traffic control and compass for those on strategic journeys. They symbolize specific aspects of the story of redemption with the human battle axes they represent such battle axes like the virgin Mary who symbolized the stars in the constellation of Virgo fought a good fight of faith. Stars worked in association with angels to protect Jesus at birth. They were used as instruments of war to liberate Israel from bondage in Egypt. They were in action during the fall of the walls of Jericho, when Haman planned to hang Mordecai and when Pharaoh was recalcitrant about letting Israel go and thereby lost all the firstborns of his nation’s families and animals. Stars indeed have military credentials and warfare capabilities. We can activate them to wage wars on behalf of individuals. We can mobilize them to fight the battles of nations. “They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera” (Judges 5:20).

There are twelve constellations of stars that influence the twelve cycles of every month. They are prophetic pictures that tell the story of redemptions. They are celestial signs with deep spiritual significance. They demonstrate the gospel message and confirm the truth of the written word. No one can unveil the mystery of any given month without knowledge of what these stars are saying. Psalms 19:1-4 says that, “the heavens declare the purposes of God, the original realm for which He sent Jesus on earth. The stars show forth the handiwork of the creator God. Every day they are speaking and proclaiming the patterns and processes through which God redeemed lost mankind. Every night to reveal the true knowledge of why Jesus died on the cross and how He is the God of the nations. Their message is heard throughout the earth. In heavenly stars, God build a habitation for the sun as it undertakes its circuit throughout the year. “The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament sheweth his handiwork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun” (Ps.19:1-4).

To unveil the mysteries of the first, second and third month of the Jewish calendar, we must correctly interpret what the constellation of stars associated with these months are saying. This is the task of the contemporary sons of Issachar who understand the times and know what the nations ought to do. At the Conference, our great erudite expositor teacher, Dr. Steve Ogan shall show the how the sums of Issachar activated God to intervene in the nation of Israel based on their understanding of the times and their ability to initiate Godly actions at relevant times and seasons. The stars are not just physical elements. They have spiritual influences that set God’s dominion on earth. The sun was created by God to rule the day and the moon and the stars were made to rule the night. They are subject to man’s control and whoever understands their identities and ordinances can manipulate them to rule the nations for good or bad. Many Christians are ignorant of the relationship between the stars and the monthly cycles of events. On the contrary, sorcerers and stargazers have deep knowledge of the heavenlies which they use to practice the ungodly and occultic pseudo-science of Astrology with its handmaid of horoscope.

Their manipulation of the stars has led to the destruction of God’s people. Many priests have rejected knowledge of the stars of redemption planted in the heavens; God has consequently rejected them from being priests. He has also rejected their children: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge because thou has rejected knowledge, l will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me; seeing thou hast forgotten the laws of thy God, l will also forget thy children” (Hos. 4:6). God asked Job a series of rhetorical questions to test his knowledge of the heavens, the stars and how to enforce their dominion or rulership on earth. “Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? Or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? Canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth? (Job 38:31-33). Implied in these rhetorical questions is God’s commandment to man to know the ordinances of the heavens and how to use them to rule the earth.

Consecrating the firstborns in the first month of Nisan when Aries appears in the first month of Nisan between the Gregorian months of March and April is an appropriate time to consecrate the firstborn of families and nations. The first definite instruction for the divine consecration of firstborns in Israel was given in the first month of Nisan, also known as Abib. The law of the firstborn (Exodus 13:1-4, 9-10, 12-16). Notice that the firstborn of both man and animals were to be consecrated when the constellation of stars are proclaiming the message of the lamb that was slain in the season of the Passover. Every male child appears before the Lord in Jerusalem at this time. Jesus, as a child of 12 years old, went with His parents to celebrate the Passover (Luke 1:41-42). Firstborns are the foundations of many generations. They are signs and signals of the destiny of families and nations. The best time to consecrate them is in the first month of the Jewish calendar when the stellar sign of Aries are declaring the glory of the First Begotten Son of God. Again Nisan is the beginning of months, the foundations of Israel’s times and season. There can be no better time to consecrate the firstborns than in the first month of the Jewish calendar.

The travail of firstborns: One fundamental reason for consecrating the firstborns in the first month of Nisan is because of the travail of firstborns. The travails of Israel as the firstborn of nations and that of Jesus as the First Begotten of the dead are symbolic of the travails of firstborns. Some of the travails or challenges of firstborns have to endure include: 1. Attempts of Satan to reverse their destiny (Jn. 10:10) 2. Being the first to bear the burden of negative foundations (Ps. 11:3) 3. Proneness to be subject to peculiar character problem and sins (Gen.49:3-4) 4. Fear of dethronement by their younger siblings (Jer.30:9) 5. Insecurity of those who are not in Christ the firstborn of creation (Col.1:15-18) 6. Aggressive and domineering traits (2 Chron. 21:1,3-4) 7. Over-expectation that they must succeed from parents and everyone else (Gen.29:25-27). The fact that firstborns face these challenges justifies why it is imperative to dedicate and rededicate them in the first month of Nisan. The 14th of Nisan is a time to secure the destiny of the firstborns. It is a time to deal with the negative foundations that hinder the rise of firstborns to prominence. It is a season to harness the message in the constellation of Aries to reassure firstborns. The fact that the heaven declare the glory of the lamb slain and yet victorious indicates the reality that every travail of firstborns can become the platform for their ultimate triumph. The Gregorian months of March and April which are the equivalent of the first Jewish month of Nisan, are indeed a very auspicious time to deal with the fear in firstborn that they could be dethroned and replaced as firstborns. It is a time to pray and ensure that every firstborn will be covenanted, through salvation, to Jesus – the firstborn of all creation.

It is a time to deal with any aggressive and domineering tendencies that could derail the prophetic destiny of any firstborn. For this reason, each of us, both individually and in our fellowships, should establish a battle plan to pull down the powers of darkness that control the city where God has placed us. Only as we win the battle in the heavenlies can we truly occupy the territory until the Lord comes. As we gain victory in our present setting, we produce enduring fruit and we gather valuable spoils to present to our Master when He returns. For those who have been faithful to assault the headquarters of Satan, binding his princes through prayer, and gathering the spoils of the battle through our service, there will be great reward in the ages to come. May everyone that has read this article qualify to hear these words from the Lord. "Well done, thou good and faithful servant Thou hast been faithful over a few things. I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord" (Matt. 25:21).

A battle prayer for spiritual warfare: "Satan, we come against you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are armed with the blood and the Word of God, our sword. Right now we pierce you with the truth that Jesus Christ came in the flesh to destroy your works. Even now, as we lift our praises to the Lord, the chief prince assigned to rule over this city has been bound with fetters of iron, just as you are also bound with chains of iron. Everything we bind on earth is bound in heaven, and with that authority, we cast you down.

By faith, we scatter every heavenly force arrayed against us, as holy angels smite them in our behalf. Greater is He that lives in us and more powerful is those with us, than those with you. Jesus Christ Himself sends His Word to deliver us from your devices. We put to flight every demonic power in this city that would hinder us. Satan, we have bound your chiefs; therefore, all your demons grope in darkness, staggering as we smite them by the resurrection power of Jesus. Satan, you and every one of your angels and demons are now bound. We laugh and God laughs as we see you brought to derision as you recognize that you must bow at the name of Jesus. Now by faith we loose the peace and grace of Christ. Come Holy Spirit and work among us - saving and healing as we see Your Kingdom established to the glory of the Father. Amen."
