A two-time chairman of Kaduna North Local Government Area, Sadiq Mamman Lagos, has assured that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has the formidable force to wrest power from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), saying Gen. Muhhamadu Buhari alone can deliver 15 million votes come 2015.

In an exclusive interview with LEADERSHIP yesterday, Mamman Lagos said the APC was not all about merger of the opposition parties in the country, as not less than 12 PDP governors have indicated interest in joining the APC and were strategising on how to pull out of the ruling party.

He has applauded Niger State Governor Babangida Aliyu for letting the cat out of the bag on the agreement President Goodluck Jonathan signed with PDP governors in the build-up to the 2011 general elections.

Mamman Lagos said for Aliyu to Speak up against the deceit of the ruling party aimed at crippling the North politically, showed that he was a man of integrity and sound character who could be counted on.

He said the APC was giving Aliyu an open invitation to join the APC, saying the Niger State governor was one of those who welcomed the APC at birth and admitted that his party, the PDP has failed in certain areas.

He advised APC members to strive to build grass-roots strongholds in order to establish structures that would not only put PDP out of business, but would ensure that the party stands the test of time.
