Elvis Iruh appointed Goodwill Ambassador in the Netherlands.

“A seasoned Nigerian journalist, the publisher of the African-focused magazine based in the Netherlands, The Voice magazine and a preacher of the gospel, Pastor Elvis Ndubuisi Iruh has been appointed a Goodwill Ambassador for Miss Black Europe International Pageant recently under the leadership of its President, Sola Opesan Brown. The beauty pageant under the acronym; MBE is a cultural event where the standard European beauty values are not used in selecting participants, because they are not a traditional model of beauty contest. However, the traditional African values of elegance and poise are considered during the selection process of contestants. “

MBE is an ambassadorial platform for diversity and a positive role model to the black community in Europe and for that reason, the founder search out men and women of great reputation, integrity and foresight as goodwill ambassadors.

The MBE will help extend people knowledge about black race and black people's inner and outer beauty. The MBE offers scholarship to these young women, mostly disadvantaged to be able to further their studies. The event also unite Blacks in Europe and others from around the world to celebrate the Black heritage and promote Black culture in Europe and worldwide.

Through a letter signed by the president of MBE, Sola Opesan Brown, it reads in part the choice of Pastor Elvis Iruh as Goodwill Ambassador for the organization. “We hereby appoint you as a GOODWILL AMBASSADOR to Miss Black Europe, because of your genuine interest in our projects and more importantly in believing in our dream of making the world a better and peaceful place for all; also we do appreciate your activities in our community. We hope that we will have a long lasting relationship and commitments together”.

Pastor Elvis Iruh has humbly accepted the position as Goodwill Ambassador to this organization and he will do his best to support their course for the betterment of our womenfolk in Europe.

He appealed to others of goodwill to support ventures like that of Solar Foundation, the brain behind the Miss Black Europe which target is to uplift the girl child through educational support. According to Honourable Pastor Elvis Iruh, the best legacy we can give to the coming generation either girls or boys are good education.

Miss Black Europe pageant for 2013 will be held at famous DNA Club at H.J.E. Wenckebachweg 180, 1096AV, Amsterdam in The Netherlands on 24th August 2013 at the DNA party centre.
