Ghana defender Lee Arday is confident the young-looking Black Stars can snuffed out the Super Eagles of Nigeria in Thursday's grudge Africa Cup of Nations semi-final clash in Luanda.

A ten-man Ghana side kicked out Nigeria at the last edition on home soil with a 2-1 win at the Ohene Djan Stadium.

Two-time winners Nigeria struggled in the Group phase and secured a semi-final bert via the lottery of penalty shoot-out in a 4-5 win over Zambia.

Big stars Peter Odemwinge, Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel, Yakubu Aiyegbeni and Obafemi Martins hold the aces over Ghana's young and inexperienced side.

But central defender Lee Arday, in his first Nations Cup appearance, is not frightened by the studded Super Eagles side.

"It will be very difficult but nothing is impossible. With their big names, we don't might, we will overcome them. No matter what the case maybe, we will do our possible best," Arday told journalists.

"We know it is a rivalry match but the senior are psyching us up not to lose focus and concentrate on the game and no matter what the case maybe, we will overcome them."

Ghana meet Nigeria for the seventh time in the Africa Cup of Nations.
