NSE Lists STANBIC IBTC, RENCAP, VETIVA As Top Stockbrokers In Nigeria

SAN FRANCISCO, January 04, (THEWILL) – STANBIC IBTC stockbrokers Limited, RENCAP Securities Nigeria Limited and VETIVA Securities Limited are the top three stockbrokerage firms in Nigeria according to data obtained from the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

The three stockbrokers accounted for about 40% of the total cash value traded on the floor of the stock exchange between January and December 2012.

STANBIC IBTC traded 223, 292, 976, 961.92 representing16.96%, RENCAP, 220, 336, 041, 656.46 (16.74%) while VETIVA traded 105, 115, 792, 733.74 representing 7.98%.

A Nigerian Stock Exchange Top 10 brokers list obtained by THEWILL listed CHAPELHILL DENHAM, CSL, ARM, MERISTEM, CORDROS, BGL AND GTB Securities as others in the top 10 bracket respectively.

The top 10 accounted for 66.09% of the total value traded between January 2012 and December 2012.
