Appointments: Uru Community Congratulates Three Sons

The Uru Improvement Union (UIU), Port Harcourt Branch has congratulated three of its members; Rev. Samuel Ibemere, Mr. Adolphus Nnadi and Mr. Anayo Onukwugha over their recent appointments into positions of trust.

While Ibemere and Nnadi were appointed Presiding Elder, Port Harcourt West District, and President, Lay Council, Port Harcourt Nigeria Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Zion Church, Nigeria, respectively, Onukwugha, who is also the Assistant Secretary of the Union, was promoted to Regional Editor (South-South) of Leadership Newspapers Group.

A statement signed by the Branch Secretary of UIU, Mr. Anselm Ezenwa also commended the leadership of the AME Zion Church in Nigeria as well as the management of Leadership Newspapers Group for finding the trio worthy to be appointed into the positions of trust.

The statement urged Ibemere, Nnadi and Onukwugha to use their new positions to make impact in the Church, Nigeria and the society in general.
