NORTHERN YOUTHS CAUTION AGAINST POLITICISING YAKOWA, AZAZI DEATH

By NBF News

http://www.nigerianbestforum.com/blog/?attachment_id=121487 Northern Youths for the Advancement of Peace, Harmony and Development  has cautioned the youths against politicising the death of former Governor of Kaduna State, Sir Patrick Yakowa and the former National Security Adviser(NSA) Gen. Patrick Aziza in a helicopter crash last Saturday.

The group  in a statement made available to LEADERSHIP in Jos, the Plateau State capital  yesterday, and signed  by its president comrade Melvin Ejeh   said   it was with utmost shock that they received the news of the death of the former Governor adding that the association sent their heartfelt sympathy to the government , family and the entire people of Kaduna State over this loss.

The statement further expressed worries over the celebratory comments in some parts of Kaduna State by some misguided youths when the news broke out just because the deceased governor was a Christian.

According to the group there was no place in Quranic verse or Hadith that encourages a Muslim to jubilate even the unjustified death of an animal let a alone a fellow human being.

They noted that this act was coming from a few misguided elements in the society who do not understand the teaching of Islam because death and life comes from Allah and he gives and take without permission from any mortals.

The group who also described the late Yakowa as a governor who has the people of the state at heart however called  on the newly sworn in Governor Ramalan Muktar Yero to carry everybody in the state along irrespective of religion, tribal and political differences.
