By Embassy of Italy in Angola

LUANDA, Angola, August 28, 2012/African Press Organization (APO)/ -- Italian language courses are increasing in Angola, as witnessed during a ceremony for the awarding of diplomas to 100 students at the end of their one year course of study. The courses are the fruit of collaboration between our Embassy in Luanda and the Angolan capital's Catholic University. The diplomas were handed out by Ambassador Giuseppe Mistretta, who spoke of the potential for teaching Italian in that African country in light of the interest expressed by other universities, such as the Catholic University of Benguela, and by private individuals and staff employed by major Italian groups such as ENI.
