JANET JACKSON TO PRODUCE A TRANSGENDER DOCUMENTARY FILM

The late popstar Michael Jackson's sister Janet has signed on as an executive producer for a documentary on lives of transgender people living around the world.

The film begins production this summer and it will focus on the struggles of the surviving transgender people. It is a new york-based brainchild film, it was announced last Monday that Janet Jackson was working on the film and she would have some of the on-camera interviews.

Janet Jackson is excited working on this project and will  try by all means to stop discrimination of the transgender community.

This 46 year-old singer and actress has starred in several films and won five Grammy Awards.

The film is called Truth and will feature stories from North America, Latin America, Australia and Europe. Robert Jason will be directing Truth, he also previously directed a documentary for The Style Network on four transgender New Yorkers.
