Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State on Sunday appointed 81 new Aides including two journalists, Miss Kwapchi Bata of the NTA and Usman Kumo of the FRCN Peace FM station, Maiduguri. Bata was appointed as the Senior Special Adviser on Media (Television), while Kumo would serve as Special

 Assistant (Radio).
Mallam Isa Gusau, the Special Adviser to the governor on Communication, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday in Maiduguri. Gusau named other appointees to include Mallam Kaka Shehu, Special Adviser on Legal Services; Malam Makinta Zarami, Senior Special Adviser on Public Works; Sultan Alhassan, Senior Special adviser on Education and Malam Ma'aji Mustapha, Senior Special Adviser on Special Projects.

The statement urged all appointees to discharge their respective duties with firm commitment to transform all sectors of the state to improve the well being of the people. (NAN)
