BABANGIDA TARGETS NFF BOARD

Newly appointed general manager of Taraba FC, Tijani Babangida has said his appointment will act as a spring board to getting into the board of the Nigeria Football Federation.

Tijani told 2muchsports.com that it has always been his desire to go into administration of football and was happy when the opportunity was given to him by Taraba state.

He promised to bring his experience to bear in the management of the club in other to send a massage to Nigeria football family of his readiness to step into full scale football management

Meanwhile, the former Super Eagles winger revealed further how he intends to turn the modest club in Taraba to a big time club in Nigeria, saying that he has mapped out his vision for the club and how he envisaged the them to be playing in the very nearest future.

'I have a vision of how I want the team to play, the kind of players I want to bring to the team and the pattern of football they will play.

'I have the privilege of heading the football academy of the state and it is my plan to integrate the academy to the club so that they will be working hand in hand while also developing the same pattern.'
