Nigeria's Under-23 team needs to 'work together' to make progress at the Olympic qualifying tournament in Morocco, says striker Danny Uchechi. The Dream Team was beaten in its first game of the tournament, going down 1-0 to the host on Saturday.

Nigeria will play Senegal today in her second game of the tournament. 'We need to have time together as a team, train together and get to know each other well,' Uchechi said.

'We should have done better against Morocco; hopefully on the training ground we will try to correct our mistakes.' Nigeria has a proud record in Olympic competitions, having won the tournament in 1996 and taken silver in Beijing four years ago.

Senegal also lost her opening game of the tournament with a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Algeria, but Uchechi said he and his teammates would not dwell on what their opponents would do.

'We are going to try and play our own game and see if we can come out on top,' he said.

The match today is a reverse fixture within Group A, as the two winning sides, host, Morocco and Algeria meet each other in Tangiers.
