Sylva Vs PDP, Judge Issues Order…Adjourn Hearing to November 22

Huhuonline.com can disclose that as regards the exparte motion, with suit number FHC/ABJ/CS/931/2011, filed by Governor Timipre Sylva, against the PDP, Wednesday; Justice G.O.Kolawole of the federal high court holden in Abuja, has fixed Tuesday,

November 22 nd as the next court date and extended an invitation to the PDP, which the party must honour within 72 hours.

Delivering his judgment, Justice Kolawole, said, 'the instant motion Ex -parte is not refused, but the defendants shall be put in on notice of same and they shall within 72 hours of being served with the said motion on notice, show cause why the plaintiff shall not be entitled to the preservatory orders as the said prayers 1-3 on the Ex-parte Motion seek.

Justice Kolawole stated that should Abubarka Kawu Baraje, chairman of the PDP, and the party, who are referred to as 2 nd and 3 rd defendants fail to show such reasonable and just cause why the order should not be made, he will not hesitate in either granting the said order in the way and manner it was couched or may grant prayer 4 as the alternative prayer as couched in the motion Ex-parte.
