WHEN GOV. FASHOLA DANCED TO ALANTA MUSIC

The venue was All Season Plaza at the birthday celebration of the first lady of Ojodu Local Government, Mrs. Esther Bukola Faleke where His Excellency, Gov. Babatunde Raji Fashola was a special guest of honour.

The amiable and hardworking governor, who is rumoured to be having fisticuffs with his predecessor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu over some misunderstanding on Lagos State allocation sharing formula, was thrilled with the wonderful performance of the duo who was billed to entertain for the celebrant.

The musical band, Artquake led by Ice Kay and Adex went straight to the VIP where the governor was with his aides and asked for 'presidential handshake' but the man of the people and Action Congress Governor of Lagos State stood and started dancing to the rhythm of Alanta and he was said to have obediently followed the steps as instructed by the duo.

Laughter, fun that followed thereafter could not be explained as other dignitaries in attendance, having seen their Governor in joined BRF as he's fondly called on the dance floor. That was more than hilarious, you would say.

Meanwhile, Artquake will be celebrating their 10th year anniversary on the 16th of August at K and G Event Centre, Oregun, Lagos. The Executive Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency Governor Gbenga Daniel and wife are billed to be distinguished guests of honour and other dignitaries. It promises to be fun as notable artistes in all walks of life are expected to be at the- A decade of Musical Excellence in Nigeria by the Artquake.
