On Wednesday, February 25 2009, a journalist, Mr. Kasper Tveden and photo journalist, Mr. Peter Kristensen, from Danish Institute of Journalism, Denmark, came to PEFTI Film Institute, Lagos to record material for their documentary Nollywood Scenes.

Nollywood Scenes is based on the history, current state, and future trends of Nigeria's movie industry, popularly known as Nollywood.

City Players learnt that Tveden and Kristensen interviewed the management, lecturers and students of PEFTI Film Institute while in the film school owned by popular television producer, Wale Adenuga. They also filmed classes-in-session, and took pictures of PEFTI students during various training activities.

It was gathered that the members of Danish Institute of Journalism opted for PEFTI Film Institute, to portray 'The Training that could shape the future of Nollywood'.

This choice was made partly because of a strong recommendation from Nigerian film makers, and due to the clips on PEFTI Film Institute in the award-winning Dutch documentary De Film Industries van Nigeria

De Film Industry van Nigeria is an award - winning documentary, that was created by film makers, Paul Rosenmoller and Marjolein Schut, from Ikon Television in Holland, during their trip to Nigeria in January 2009. PEFTI Film Institute was the first choice of the Dutch film makers, to portray Nigeria's finest training in film and television production
