MOLLENBACH JOINS HONEYWELL FLOUR'S BOARD

IMMEDIATE past Managing Director, Fan Milk (Nigeria) Plc, Mr. Jens Erik Mollenbach has joined the Board of Honeywell Flour Mills Plc.

A statement by the Company Secretary, Mrs. Oluwayemisi Busari, said Mollenbach's appointment followed a recent Board resolution ratifying his nomination.

Speaking on the appointment, Chairman of HFMP, Dr. Oba Otudeko, stated that the Board was confident that Mr. Jens Mollenbach would bring his wealth of experience to bear on the affairs of the company.

'Mr. Mollenbach is a seasoned professional who will add tremendous value to Honeywell Flour Mills and we are delighted to have him join us,' Otudeko said.

Mr. Mollenbach (65), a Danish national, graduated in 1972, from Copenhagen University, with a Masters Degree in Economics.

He has attended numerous international courses, including the Programme for Management Development (PMD 42) of the Harvard Business School, Boston, USA in 1981.

Mr. Mollenbach's impressive career has spanned, lecturing, marketing, insurance brokerage, consulting and executive management positions.

Before coming to Nigeria in 1995, Mr. Mollenbach held various executive management positions at BP Denmark Ltd, BP International Plc. London and Hafnia Services Ltd (insurance brokers).

Between 1995 and 2006, Mr. Mollenbach was Managing Director, R.T. Briscoe (Nigeria) Plc. and then Managing Director, Fan Milk (Nigeria) Plc. between 2006 and May 2011. Mr Mollenbach is married with children.
