LAGOS - The Management of Folio Communications Limited, has said the Group Managing Director, Mr. Fidelis Anosike, and his brother, Noel, were never served with court summons to appear before an Ikeja High Court, Lagos, on the charge of fraud in the acquisition of the Daily Times of Nigeria assets.

In a statement by Mr. Ayodeji Seriki, media consultant to Folio Communications, the company described government's approach as as a trial by ambush, adding that it was published in the media to whip up sentiment and embarrass the Anosikes.

The statement  said: 'Much as our company will not do anything negative to distort court process, we will not submit to trial by ambush, especially when some individuals are using their positions in the society to oppress and smear the image of our corporate entity to get what is not due them.'
