BAKERY BUSINESS IS GRADUALLY DYING - BAKERS

Many Nigerians have been wondering why many industries that were providing gainful employments to Nigerians are closing down and rendering many jobless. The few factories that remain keep reducing manpower because they are not making profits and are unable to pay salaries. This we have seen for years in spite the country's budgetary system that has over the years been running in trillions annually.

Responding to the state of the bakery industry and why the cost of consuming bread is high in some parts of the country, national secretary, Association of Master Bakers and Caterers of Nigeria, Evangelist Josiah Oluyinka Adejare said the high cost of bakery raw materials is responsible for the hike in the price of bread.

'Recently, flower rose to N650. Last year December it was increased by N350 which implies that within a y
