UMUAHIA-ABIA State Labour Party candidate for Ohafia South House of Assembly seat, Mr. Ody Okereke Ajike, has rejected the result of the election on the ground of monumental fraud, stressing that the declaration of the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mba Ukaha, as winner by  Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, was an aberration.

According to Ajike, the result of the election is not a reflection of the wishes of the people.

He noted that the House of Assembly election was a mockery of democracy and, therefore, totally unacceptable.

The Labour Party candidate also pointed out that the result of the election as announced by the electoral body was a daylight robbery of people's mandate, which was  planned and executed by officials of the ruling party and INEC officials, hand in gloves with security agents.

He said: 'The result is a proceed of daylight robbery and wicked manipulations under the firm supervision of all the government agencies and INEC officials and security agencies.

'The military that was supposed to maintain peace and security became an extension of the ruling PDP and was used to intimidate and harass opponents of PDP.'
