Two Men Killed By Their Own Explosives In Jos

SAN FRANCISCO, March 20, (THEWILL) – Two men were killed on Sunday when explosives they were carrying riding on a motorcycle detonated killing them instantly in Jos, Plateau State.
It was unclear whether the men had planned to target churches as been speculated by locals.
But angry Christian youths irked by what they perceived to be an attempted attack on members of the Christian community by the Muslim Hausa-Fulani ethnic group set fire to the body of the two men, State Police Commissioner, Abdulrahman Akanno told Reuters.
Plateau State located in the Middle Belt of the oil giant continues to be a flash point for ethnic and religious crises as security agencies battle to restore sanity and peace to the once peaceful state.
