Sokoto - The Presidential candidate of Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari, has said that he does not advocate for violence and will not support it under whatever circumstance.

He said this Thursday at Government House, Sokoto when he paid a courtesy visit on Governor Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko before his campaign rally, which took place at the Trade Fair Complex.

According to Buhari, 'I do not advocate for violence. The bottom line of the CPC is free and fair election. I have seen enough violence and do not need it again. What I fear is violence because I have lost friends and loved ones in it.'

Presenting CPC flag to the governorship candidate of the party, Engr. Aliyu Abubakar Yabo,  at the venue of the rally, Buhari called on supporters not only to cast their votes but also to protect the votes against those who would want to rig election.
