YUGUDA, MOHAMMED'S SUPPORTERS TRADE BLAMES

Supporters of the Bauchi State Governor Malam Isa Yuguda and the FCT Minister Senator Bala Mohammed yesterday addressed separate press conferences in Bauchi State, trading accusations against their principals.

The first conference was organized by the Director Media and Publicity of Jonathan/Sambo campaign organization Garba Bello where he accused the FCT minister of betraying both Governor Isa Yuguda and President Good Luck Jonathan.

He said the minister's recent utterances have confirmed that he is still a strong member of the ANPP, adding that there was no indication that the minister has even registered as a member of the PDP in his Yuli Ward.

But in a separate press briefing held by two groups loyal to the FCT Minister Senator Bala Mohammed led by Mohammed Jibrin Idris Duguri and Sanusi Danbiram Alkaleri, the groups said the FCT minister is a registered PDP member who has promoted the PDP in Bauchi and is working to deliver the state to President Jonathan in the April polls.

According to Mohammed Duguri, those working with the Goodluck Jonathan campaign office at the moment operate only in Bauchi as against the FCT minister and his supporters who have been mobilising support for the president at the grassroots, going from village to village.

He called on Governor Yuguda to face the many areas of governance where he failed  to live up to expectation.
