Mass Exodus hits PDP in Oyo State as Ladoja receive thousands into accord
Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Accord governorship candidate for the April, 2011 received new members into the party in Ibadan at four different venues. The members are from Chief Kolapo Ishola, Chief Lekan Balogun, Chief Yekini Adeojo, and Dr. Kola Balogun groups within the People's Democratic Party in Oyo state.
At Akinyele local government, Chief Sule Arowosaye the leader of Adeojo Vanguard in Oyo state led more than one thousand members into Accord. Chief Suara Busari, baale of Alaka and Honourable Falade Kazeem led about two thousand members from Chief Kolapo Ishola group into Accord. Captain Are brought with him hundreds of Chief Lekan Balogun followers to join Senator Ladoja. The former Chief of Staff to Action Congress of Nigeria chieftain Prince Yemi Aderibigbe, Chief Wasiu Are led those from omoluabi group into Accord.
At Ibadan North east local government, Senator Ladoja received Honourable Abass Adelani a pioneer member and a pillar of the PDP in the council. Barrister Ganiyu Babalola from Chief Adeojo came with tens of thousand supporters. Alhaji Safiu Kosegbe led the Senator Lekan Balogun's group into Accord. Honourable Anibaba brought numerous members of Governor Alao-Akala's group to his former boss Senator Ladoja. Honourable Kunle Adigun from Chief Richard Akinjide also came with hundreds of the PDP members and tore PDP membership cards openly.
The Chairmen of Accord in the two council Honourable Sunday Omolere and Solomon thanked the new members for joining the party which they said is movement. Responding to their acceptance into Accord, Honourable Falade Kazeem said that Senator Ladoja's vision for education, economy, infrastructural and agricultural development, and peoples welfare made them to join forces with Senator Ladoja.
Senator Ladoja advised Chief Segun Obasanjo to mind his business and leave Oyo state to her people. He implored the people of oyo state to join hands with him to move Oyo state forward. He concluded that everybody will be carried along in the Accord led government in Oyo state.
