ONI BLAST TINUBU OVER VERBAL ATTACKS ON PRESIDENT JONATHAN
Former Governor of Ekiti State, Chief Segun Oni has described former governor of Lagos State; Mr. Bola Tinubu's verbal attacks on President Goodluck Jonathan as a function of his (Tinubu) sordid background and lack of home training.
Speaking through his Chief Media Aide, Mr. Wale Ojo-Lanre, the former governor, while reacting to comment by Tinubu that President Goodluck Jonathan was a drunkard, liar and a traitor said; “It is crass idiotic, glaring on stupidity for such an element called Bola Tinubu to be launching a tirade on the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“Bola Tinubu's persistent verbal attack of President Jonathan is a pointer to the fact that the man called Tinubu does not have home training.
“In Yorubaland, even when a man, who is higher than you in position or older than you abuses you, you dare not abuse the person back.
“Even if one likens President Jonathan to an Oba in Yorubaland, would any thoroughbred Yoruba person stand in the market place to rain abuses on an Oba just because the monarch abused him? And in this case, President Jonathan is not an Oba, but the number citizen of Nigeria!
“But we are not bothered because that character called Bola Tinubu lacks every attribute of an Omoluabi because he can't even point to anyone as his real father. Even when his biological mother died, he shunned the burial because of the shame of exposing his real place of birth.
“Yoruba people have pedigree, traceable history, honour and integrity.
All these are what Tinubu lack and it is a fact that today, no one can say with a measure of certainty who Bola Tinubu's parents are. Also, the Chicago Certificate and drug stories are issues yet to be addressed by him.
“Therefore, when such a shameless man of no integrity and honour opens his mouth to cast aspersion on the person of Mr. President, it is understandable,” Oni said.
While urging President Jonathan not to be bothered by Tinubu's tirades, the former governor said; “Already, they are afraid of the impending collapse of the house of fraud built for them in Ekiti and Osun States by Justice Isa Ayo Salami.
“They are also afraid of the impending trial of Tinubu for alleged operation of foreign bank accounts while in office. Therefore, they must be out to blackmail and harass the president, and also whip up sentiments. But this time around, the game is coming to an end because propaganda will not work!”
