Let Atiku not move again

Everything is becoming interesting. It is not a good news that the Northern Political Leaders Forum (NPLF) said they may move to other party en masse with its consensus candidate, ex-Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, other presidential aspirants and party members in the North if the presidential primaries are manipulated in favour of President Goodluck Jonathan. The PDP should watch this.

The legal team of the NPLF been placed on standby for Atiku Abubakar to return to court to seek the interpretation of the verdict of the High Court, Federal Capital Territory, on zoning, should be effective. This position said was formed by the NPLF leaders at the Tafawa Balewa Guest House last Thursday (December 9) in Angwa Rimi, Kaduna, should remain a major plank of the secret meeting.

The NPLF leaders decision to support ex-President Ibrahim Babangida's position in the letter he sent to the National Chairman of the PDP, Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo, should have a human face.

Every section of the PDP leaders shouldn't be made unhappy with the zoning issue. PDP leadership should create a level-playing ground for all the aspirants.

The perceived strong suspicion of moves to manipulate the presidential primaries should be eschewed. Let the suggestions on how to "stop Jonathan at all cost" be left for the conscientious people in the party to decide.

The Ciromas must tread very carefully in their political terrain for power. Let dialogue always play a better role now. In the process may this not break-up the lives of Nigerians since it is now a do or die thing. Is it that it is unfortunate that Jonathan is in the wrong place with character that is not PDP in nature? Let NPLF and Atiku and IBB and whoever, have the true face of Nigeria. Are there no good people left in PDP? Let us try this out by allowing Atiku win the PDP primaries.

PDP should know that the whole world is watching Nigeria. Let no Nigerian or group believe that they should continue to dominate the country. Breaking up is not always the best. There is power in unity. Let no body always think in his heart that there are people that are minority in Nigeria while others are not entitled to be the president.

Let Atiku not move again. He has to be steady now. Let the instances that he moved his family (wife & children) to Dubai from USA, and moved from PDP to form AC, vis-à-vis be in the past.
