At atime when most actresses, in Nollywood, especially the upcoming ones, are bitterly complaining about sexual harassment in the movie industry, talented actress, Linda Asuquo Sunday, has blamed her colleagues for their harassment.

According to the half-caste, it is the actresses that usually seduced the producers and directors in a bid to get movie roles.

She said most upcoming actresses are desperate to become stars and as a result can go to any length to achieve that.

Linda added that some of the actresses in question don't even have a calling in acting, but are driven by the desire to make quick money and fame, “which is not possible.

“Getting fame and money in Nollywood is like climbing a ladder, and you need to carefully climb it step by step before getting to the top.

“Most of these girls actually want to get laid because they are not actually cut out for. So, they want to go out with producers in order to get scripts and money.”

According to the Abak, Akwa-Ibom State-born actress, “I like doing things that make me happy. I like being social, but not to the extent of doing immoral things.

“I love to prove my mettle to producers, and if they're not giving me the role, fine, it's not a do-or-die affair.”

Linda added that it is pathetic that due to the irresponsible behaviour of some actresses, producers now see others as the same.

Speaking on her role models in the make-believe industry, the University of Lagos undergraduate said: “I'm crazy about Genevieve. I wish to be like her. I also like Dakore for her sense of humour.”

Linda was one of the housemates that participated in the first Next Movie Star reality show.

She has since featured in movies like Flat Mate, Calabar Girl, and Campus Babes among others.
