Portable Explains Reason For Supporting President Tinubu

Popular controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, best known as Portable, has opened up on his reason for supporting President Tinubu, despite the ongoing nationwide protest.

Portable has been criticizing the actions of Nigerians who have taken to various streets to protest against bad governance.

Many have insinuated that the singer's support for President Tinubu is influenced by monetary reward which he has received from the president.

Reacting to the allegations, the singer stated that he has never been rewarded by President Tinubu despite his support for his administration, despite the ongoing protests.

Portable said that those who are participating in the ongoing protests are just joking around, as the government have nothing to lose despite the protests among Nigerians.

Portable made this known during an Instagram live session, where he said;

"I supported Tinubu but I didn’t get any money. I was used but I am calm. You’re k!lling yourselves in the name of fighting the government. The government has nothing to lose.”
