Adeyemi, who said he worked closely with the late spiritual father, also said that the church now has 53 districts with its headquarters in Kaduna and four million members.

He maintained that the church has never had any problem with succession. Adeyemi said usually, it was the most senior in the church's hierarchy that succeeded any spiritual father, who died. He added that the church has had three spiritual fathers since the death of Coker.

In his remarks, retired Col Ezekiel Oladipo Coker, one of the Baba Aladura's sons, said the service was held to celebrate the late founder in death, because of his legacies left behind.  According to him, the church has not only grown since his death, but that his children have become people to be reckoned with in the country.
