"We have been looking for him, we even reported the case to Bukuru Police station to no avail," Idris said.

He said last week someone came to informed them that a burnt body was lying in the bushes somewhere around where Usman was last seen trekking prompting the family to mobilize some security men who escorted them to the spot were they were able to recover his body.

Idris said his brother must have been killed in the continued hostility between the Fulani and the indigenes of the area and appealed to the state Governor to resolve the state’s ethnic and religious crises.
