LG SACKS COUNCILLOR IN KOGI

The clerk of the council, Mr Tijani Muhammed, told newsmen yesterday that Sadiq's removal was sequel to allegations of gross misconduct against him.

He said, Mr Michael Okoliko has been elected as the new leader of the legislative council. He added that the former leader has been directed to hand over all council's property in his possession.
